Scent Classes:

Sundays 2-4pm (fortnightly - Gailey Marine)

Details of scent classes at Gailey Marine:

Limited to 5 dogs.
Junior handlers welcome.
£50 per dog per block of 3x2hr classes.
World Scent Dog Association certified instructor.
 

Scent classes will cover:

- Developing the search with passive indication - depending on the dog this may involve:
Developing the freeze indication; working with smaller scent samples; adding new scents; working with distractions; working in different locations; working on larger search areas; searching people and vehicles; searching rooms and outdoor spaces; inaccessible hides.

Teams tend to progress at different rates, so the scent classes will be tailored to each team, breaking things down and adding extra challenge for those that want it.

There are tea and coffee facilities at the venue. We will be working both indoors and outdoors (unless the weather is horrible, when we might stay indoors!).

Gailey Marine is just off Junction 12 of the M6.
