Behaviour in and around classes, workshops and 1-2-1 sessions

 

Please keep your dog on lead if not working and do not allow your dog to greet any other dog. Many of the dogs participating in our activities are not comfortable with contact from other dogs.

 

If your dog is waiting in the car it is your responsibility to ensure they have appropriate shade, ventilation and access to drinking water. If you have forgotten anything, please ask - I carry spare water, bowls and items to provide shade.

 

Custom Canine Training does not take responsibility for any injuries while participating in any of the sessions.

If in a public space please be polite and considerate to members of the public.

 

Cancellation

​

Cancellation more than 4 months before the event is entitled to a full refund, minus £5 admin fee. Cancellation more than 2 months before the event is entitled to a 50% refund, minus £5 admin fee. For cancellation less than 2 months before the event I am afraid we are unable to offer a refund.

You are welcome to pass your place on to someone else - you must inform Custom Canine if this is your intention.

We often have a waiting list for events, please let us know if you are unable to come, if we are able to resell your space you are entitled to a voucher to use on a future event, up to the value of the event you are unable to attend, minus a £5 admin fee.

In the unlikely event that your event is cancelled by Custom Canine you will be offered the choice of either a transfer to a similar event (if available) or a refund.

Health and Safety

 

While Custom Canine Training takes all reasonable measures to ensure the safety of all participants, any course of this type is not without potential risk to dogs and their handlers/care givers.

 

By booking on any course with Custom Canine Training you agree to waive and release Custom Canine Training and all related with it from any and all liability of any nature for injury or damage to yourself, your dog and property.

The participation in any events or services with Custom Canine Training is at your own risk and you are fully responsible for your own and your dog's actions.

All accidents or injuries must be reported to the instructor at the time they occurred.

All activities are aimed at pet dogs and their owners. They in no way prepare you or your dog for operational scent or trailing activities such as drug detection or search and rescue.

By booking on this workshop you agree for photos and video from sessions to be used on advertising and social media for Custom Canine Training. If this concerns you, please speak with your instructor and we will happily accomodate your wishes.
